Dashboard to visualize your organization's data

Insights | Viewsonic Devices

The ViewSonic Devices section summarizes data related to devices in your entity. Note that the summary will only include data from devices that were successfully registered in your Manager console. By default, the information  presented is based on activity from the last 90 days. 

 

This section is organized into several tabs. See the sections below for a quick description.

 

Overview

The Overview tab presents statistics related to devices and licenses in your entity. 

 

Devices Total devices
Devices in your entity that have been added to your Manager console.
Daily active devices
Paired devices active in your entity per day. A device is considered active if it receives at least one action per day, either through the Manager console or on the device itself.
Licenses Total Advanced licenses
Total number of Advanced licenses in your entity, based on your subscription.
Devices with Advanced licenses
Percentage of devices assigned with an Advanced license.

 

 

 

Application

The Application tab presents statistics related to apps in your entity. 

 

  • Top 10 apps across all devices 
    The most used apps while the ViewBoard input source was active. 
     
  • App usage across devices 
    Number of devices that have used the selected app while the ViewBoard input source was active. 

 

 

Note that app usage is counted only on devices that meet the following criteria:

  • Registered with the entity's Manager console.
  • Connected to on an active network.
  • The Enable to allow the ViewBoard to collect user behavior data option is turned on. To activate this setting, access the Settings menu on the target device and navigate to: 
    • Settings » Security

 

 

 

 

Utilization

The Utilization tab presents statistics related to how much power the devices are using in your entity.

 

  • Total devices 
    Devices in your entity that have been added to your Manager console.
     
  • Power-on days 
    Counts the total consecutive number of days that saw a device in the entity being turned on.
     
  • Power-on time by devices 
    Displays a lists of active devices, and the days when these devices were turned on. Use the following icons to view more details:

    •   Sorts the data in alphabetical or numerical order
    •   Search by device name or model
    •   Displays a calendar showing the days when the device was on. 
    •   Closes the panel

 

 

 

Manager

The Manager tab presents statistics related to the use of the Manager app. By default, the information presented is based on activity from the last 90 days.

 

Command Command types
Commands sent by category types in the Manager console.

Commands sent via the Manager console, organized by category type. Shows All types by default. Click a tile to change the details shown.

 

  • Command types distribution 
    Displays a breakdown of commands, per type. Hover over an item to view a quick description. 
  • Commands sent  
    Total commands sent for the selected period, broken down per day.
Broadcast Provides a summary of all broadcast activity in your entity for the given period.

Total broadcasts by category 

Breaks down the total broadcasts by types:
 

  • Total broadcasts 
    Total number of broadcast activities for the selected period.
  • Message 
    Standard or urgent messages broadcasted to a ViewSonic device.
  • Media 
    Any media broadcasted to a ViewSonic device.

Distribution by broadcast type

Shows All types by default. Click a broadcast category to view the distribution of specific broadcast types to devices.
