Assign licenses

Manager Advanced is licensed on a per-device basis. You can purchase the number of licenses that fit your needs and assign them to specific devices within Manager. 

Assign an Advanced License

Follow these steps to assign a Manager Advanced license to one or more devices:

1. Click the Menu to open the side panel.
2. Click the Devices option.
3. Click the All Devices tab.
   
   
4. On the All Devices list table: 
   1. Click the checkbox of all target devices.
   2. Click the  Search icon to find your target devices easier.
      
      
5. On the All Devices top toolbar:
   1. Click the Add to Advanced devices  button.
   2. From the dropdown, select a License option that has a free slot.
   3. The selected devices will now have Manager Advanced features enabled.

Note the following behavior:

• All Advanced features automatically become available to the target device once assigned with an Advanced license. 
• If an Advanced device and a standard device are both selected, any command that targets an Advanced feature will only be applied to the device assigned with an Advanced license.

View all licensed devices

By default, Manager shows you all devices. To quickly see only the devices that have an Advanced license assigned:

1. Click the Menu to open the side panel.
2. Click the Devices option.
3. Click the All Devices tab.
   
   
4. Click the Advanced Devices toggle on the top toolbar. 
   
   
5. The list will now show only your devices with an assigned Advanced license. 
6. Click the toggle again to return to the all-devices view. 

Remove an Advanced License

To free up a license for another device (so you can re-assign it to another device), remove it from a currently licensed device.

1. Click the Menu to open the side panel.
2. Click the Devices option.
3. Click the All Devices tab.
   
   
4. On the All Devices list table: 
   1. Click the checkbox of all target devices.
   2. Click the  Search icon to find your target devices easier.
      
      
5. On the All Devices top toolbar:
   1. Click the  Remove from Advanced devices  button.
   2. The selected devices will now have Manager Advanced features removed.
