ClassSwift

Instant Push

A one‑click shortcut that captures a full‑screen screenshot and immediately pushes it to all students for sketch/ink responses. Ideal on large touch screens (e.g., ViewBoard) for fast, on‑the‑fly activities.

Before you start

  • You’re in an active lesson and students have joined.
  • The content you want students to annotate is visible on your screen.

Instructions

  1. Show the slide/webpage/document you want students to work on.
  2. Tap Instant Push on the in‑class toolbar, ClassSwift instantly takes a full‑screen screenshot and sends it to all students (no extra selection needed).
  3. The Records view opens (or switch to it). Student submissions appear as cards.
  4. Review and give feedback
    • Click a student card to open their work.
    • Annotate/mark and click Send & Save to return feedback.
  5. Click End task to stop collecting responses (or End all tasks to finish every active prompt).

Tips

  • Use Instant Push for quick checks, impromptu problems, or capturing a live demo.
  • Since it grabs your entire screen, hide sensitive info and unwanted windows first.
  • For targeted differentiation, use Custom Push instead of Instant Push.
