Instant Push
A one‑click shortcut that captures a full‑screen screenshot and immediately pushes it to all students for sketch/ink responses. Ideal on large touch screens (e.g., ViewBoard) for fast, on‑the‑fly activities.
Before you start
- You’re in an active lesson and students have joined.
- The content you want students to annotate is visible on your screen.
Instructions
- Show the slide/webpage/document you want students to work on.
- Tap Instant Push on the in‑class toolbar, ClassSwift instantly takes a full‑screen screenshot and sends it to all students (no extra selection needed).
- The Records view opens (or switch to it). Student submissions appear as cards.
- Review and give feedback
- Click a student card to open their work.
- Annotate/mark and click Send & Save to return feedback.
- Click End task to stop collecting responses (or End all tasks to finish every active prompt).
Tips
- Use Instant Push for quick checks, impromptu problems, or capturing a live demo.
- Since it grabs your entire screen, hide sensitive info and unwanted windows first.
- For targeted differentiation, use Custom Push instead of Instant Push.
