Push-and-Respond
Send sketch‑based prompts (diagrams, handwriting, math) and collect student submissions in real time.
Before you start
- You’re in an active lesson and students have joined.
- (Optional) Set up groups if you plan to target specific groups.
Instructions
- On the in‑class toolbar, click the paper‑plane icon to open Push‑and‑Respond.
- Click +and choose one:
- Select Content – capture or pick an image/screenshot (e.g., a diagram to annotate).

Link – paste a webpage or YouTube URL students should open.
You can add multiple items; each appears as a card.
- Click the card(s) you want to use so they’re checked/selected.
- Choose recipients
- To all – send to everyone in the class.
- Custom Push – target individual students or groups and choose Single or Multiple content, then confirm.
- Go to the Recordstab (or it opens automatically). As submissions arrive:
- Click a student’s card to annotate/mark and give feedback.
- Click Send & Save to return feedback and record the latest version.

Use helpful controls(top/right of Records)
- Award stars to individuals or Add 1 star to all responses.
- Label as Marked to finalize reviewed work.
- Sort By to organize submissions (e.g., status, name).
- Click End task (for the current prompt) or End all tasks to stop receiving submissions.
Tips
- Use Custom Push for differentiation (e.g., easier/harder versions by group).
- Keep screenshots high‑contrast so student ink stands out.
- Multiple content lets you send a short set of problems in one go.
